PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Overview

PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating is awarded once you’ve earned five PADI Specialty Instructor ratings!

As a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT), you can personally train and certify PADI Master Scuba Diver (MSD).

PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating is also one of the prerequisites for attending PADI IDC Staff Instructor (IDCSI) course.

At Gopro Malaysia, we offer a full PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer preparation program. During this program you will complete five PADI Specialty Instructor courses of your choice. You can do it right away after your PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) or anytime when you are ready! The program duration is depending on which PADI Specialty Instructor courses you chose to do. Usually it takes anywhere between 3 and 5 days.

Once you have completed all five PADI Specialty Instructor courses, we will send in your applications together with your PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer application. As soon as you have certified at least 25 students as PADI divers to any level you will automatically become a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT).
